Dr. Kamran Bagheri Lankarani, as the Chairman of the 6th International Congress  on Mobile Health and a faculty member at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS), plays a crucial role in shaping health policy. He leads the Health Policy Research Center at SUMS, emphasizing the importance of accurate information in maintaining, promoting, and enhancing human health.

In today's digital age, electronic sources serve as the primary means of acquiring information, with mobile phones being the most convenient tool for the general public. This presents a significant opportunity for health policymakers to use mobile technology for preventive measures across various levels. Mobile applications can serve as a platform for disseminating accurate information, providing education, and offering essential care to individuals. Furthermore, offering software and information in local languages can greatly enhance medical knowledge and health outcomes within a society.
